my heart warms when both kids are being sweet to each other. This morning behind the couch, one of their favorite play places, they were hugging and kissing each other and being so nice and giggles. https://youtu.be/plsF6ku7Z4Q

At bed time prayers, Ryan prayed "thank you God for the angels, for dad, for mom, for Emme. Please let Emme get another cat because she was sad her cat had to go home. please help us to be kind. amen" (Emme asked to take hee tattoo off all night, I did and then she cried hard that it was gone!!) Ryan
while driving to swim in the sound in obx. "are we going to the noise?" I want a kitty and a baby sister "who farted? I think it was God in Heaven!" Ryan loves to drink out of our water glass. The other night I gave him my glass. He kept alternating putting his hand in the cup, them drinking out of the (empty) cup!
Ryan is still trying to figure out how to eat! We laughed watching him hold his spoon while putting his hand in his yogurt. We let him make a mess at home but its hard to tell him no when we're out in public!
Ryan enjoyed sharing a piece of Pizzawith his dad while out to dinner. He gnawled on the crust and cried when we tried to take it away from him. Lets hope pizza isn't all he eats when he grows up, like someone else we know!
I guess I'm used to Facebook and people commenting back! I wish our website had comment sections so that people can leave messages on our posts! Feel free to leave any comments here!! :)
![]() by Lorin Where did the summer go? I'm counting down (or dreading down) the days until I'm back at work (12) but so thankful to be able to have this special one on one time with Ryan! I'm telling myself that it will be good for him to socialize with other kids and get on a schedule at day care. Up until now we feed on demand and are allowing him to figure out his schedule, which he has done a good job with! He's been sleeping 5-6 hours at night and just recently was introduced to his crib. I thought it would be good to transition him now rather than wait until too many changes with day care and going back to work. Ryan and I have been enjoying each others company and entertaining each other. He seems to really enjoy...."how big is Ryan...soooo big!", staring at him self in the mirror, any ceiling fan, but only if it's not moving, bath time and reading books. We've figured out the trick to put him to sleep, walking the neighborhood in the kangaroo, I wonder what the neighors think when they see us every night with him! It works and we'll take a happy baby! We're looking forward to Ryan meeting his cousin Brodyn and Aunts Beth and Ash this coming week as they come from Colorado. We'll head down to teach Ryan how to be a beach bum and swim like a fish in G'rent Barta's pool! |
