We have really been slacking on updating the site, SORRY! We're still waiting on our 'real' camera to come back from the shop...so Jan and Feb 2013 will have many less pictures of Ryan. Sorry kid, we'll make it up to you with the other thousands of pictures we already have of you!
Hopefully we're getting it back any day now and will be able to take many more pictures, even better ones after Lorin takes an upcoming photography class!

8 month Shoot
This is by far the hardest shoot so far! He kept wanting to pull his sticker off and wouldn't sit with the chalk board, there's blue chalk everywhere!
Jeremy put up our measuring chart to track Ryans growth, don't mind the paci, it was getting late and we had a grumpy baby! Anything to get a picture I guess!

January 24- 8 Month Checkup
We visited Dr. Wilson again for Ryan's 8 month check up and he got another A+. He was supposed to get his 2nd flu booster shot but they ran out. He only had one shot, Prevnar and he was a champ. Jeremy kept him distracted with kisses and he barely even cried!

January 25- Snow Day!
Lorin and Jeremy were able to pick Ryan up early after work closed early on Friday for snow! We suited up and headed out to make a snow angel out of our angel! He wasn't too sure about it and like his mom, thought it was too cold! We snapped a few pictures then headed in to warm up by the fire which Ryan loves to watch!
January 24- Ryan & Rascal Playdate
Since its snowing and cold outside we let Rascal in for a rare play date with Ryan, surprisingly both of them did great! Ryan did pull at her hair but she didn't seem to mind, as long as we kept rubbing her ears! Perhaps she'll be allowed in more often as they get better acquainted, under a watchful eye!
January 20- play day
We kept Ryan busy with lots of toys and playing today! He loved the box of ribbons, what a simple toy!
On the Move
It looks like we'll need to start baby proofing the house and stop leaving him alone on the bed! While Lorin was out at the groccery store, Jeremy caught Ryan on tape "creepin"!

January 13
Ryan introduced dad to Rompy at Romp and Roll and showed him how much fun he is. We danced, laughed, sang, chewed, smiled and watched other babies play. The all time high was the parachute, all the other moms kept laughing at how excited Ryan was! We look forward to many more Sunday mornings playing with our new friends! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa B for the gift that keeps on giving!
January 12
With temperatures in the 60s in January we had to get outside and get some fresh air! Ryan and Mackenzie tested out their new double stroller at Lewis Ginter to check out the plants and more importantly people watching! To celebrate Uncle Scott's birthday we headed to Kanpi for Ryan and Kenzie's first japanese steak house experience. They both seemed intrigured by the fire and show! The overly friendly server helped feed Ryan his meal while we ate and kept offering to hold him! I think she missed her little one at home that she kept showing us pictures of!
January 3- "big boy bath"
Ryan was introduced to his "big boy bath"! We realized that he outgrew the whale tub when he wouldn't lay back and kept arching his back trying to play/get out! The new tub was a huge success, he laughed and played with his squirt friends! He then laid back to chill with his head on the back of the tub!

Our NYE was full of a baby tuxedo, bubbles, maracas and teething rings! Ryan entertained us along with Ryan and Kristen before he counted down to 8pm to leave us to enjoy our take out Thai food, Catch Phase and watch the Dick Clark count down without Dick Clark!
