18 Month Check Up!
Ryan had his 18 month check up to day and got another A+! He was happy to be there and tried walking around the whole place! They commented that not many kids were as happy to be there as he was! He got our last round of DTAP and his polio shot. We've once again deferred his MMR and Chickenpox shot for now.

Happy Birthday Nonnie Marie!
Ryan got to celebrate Aunt Lynell’s 35th Birthday with her friends. They had us all over for an amazing brunch and Ryan enjoyed entertaining everyone and playing with 3 dogs. I love that he’s getting used to being around them, it helped that they were all smaller dogs too!!
We stopped by to say a sad farewell to my lifelong friend Karissa who is moving to Tennessee today. Even though I don’t see her much, it’s sad to think that she’s not going to be in VA Beach anymore and there isn’t a possibility to see her anymore!

November 23
We tried a new breakfast joint this morning, The Mill on Macarthur before stopping by Lowes where Ryan enjoyed the Christmas blow ups! Ryan must’ve known that we had a lot of work to do around the house and errands to run because he took a 3 hour nap! (thanks kid!)
He tried to “help” us rake the leaves up but after a few swipes, Jeremy decided it was for the birds and that we should go in for lunch, none of us argued!
It was a nice family day and I’m glad to get a few Christmas decorations up. Jeremy even let me listen to Christmas Carols!

Weekend-11/15-11/17
After work Friday we rushed over to Short Pump mall to see the grand illumination of their Christmas tree. (for the record- 2nd tree illumination in 2 weeks) Traffic was bad so we figured we would scout in for dinner real quick and get our name on the list. But there was no wait list! We realized that everyone else was at the illumination while we ate at Bakers Crust! Part of me felt bad for missing the illumination but the pregnant side of me was glad to eat! We did enjoy people watching and a few escalator rides after dinner so I felt that we accomplished the holiday spirit!
Saturday we headed for a Target run where Ryan cleared a shelf to take a seat. (how much is that toddler on the shelf?) I love the picture of Ryan at dinner where he was holding the notify thingy, he loved it when it lit up and vibrator.
Sunday we spent time playing at Grent Kain’s where Ryan enjoyed a nap, lunch and showing us all of their toys! For the first time he showed interest in a baby and kept feeding it his bottle!
We got our share of barbies, babies and girly toys at the Radfords for dinner where the girls loved showing Ryan attention.

Stony Point Tree Lighting
We started the Holidays early this year!! We met our friends, Henry’s Parents at Stony Point for dinner at Panera and then met up with Mackenzie and Tripps parents to see the lighting of the Christmas tree! There were A LOT of people there…to see a Christmas tree light up! I didn’t know what to expect but there were festivities, ice skating and supposedly Santa was there. We didn’t really see this as we tried to stay away from the large crowd but scored a less crowded area where the kids could run around and watch the dogs and play with their light sticks! The kids all mounted on their dads shoulders for the count down! The only thing that would’ve made it better would’ve been a peppermint hot chocolate but the line at Starbucks was ridic as you can imagine!
Santa is here and we’re ready to celebrate!! We weren't able to make it through the store without a ride up and down the escalator, of course!

Ella's Birthday at Romp and Roll
Ella turned 2 and we celebrated with her at Romp and Roll. It was funny to see Ryan interact with the other kids, he was the youngest there and couldn’t keep up with them! I think he was over stimulated for a while and was just watching the older kids run around! While Lorin was being social, Erica and Jeremy thought it would be funny to give Ryan a CapriSun(against Lorin’s wishes!!) Of course he liked it! They then tried to give him cake which he refused a few times and then dug in and wanted to eat everyone elses! You’ll see the aftermath of his rare sugar overload in the crash!
