Snow Fun

One kid loved it, one kid hated it!  Ryan was super excited when he woke up and looked out the window to see snow.  I knew we had to go out to play in it, even if it took more time to dress up then to play!  He would've stayed out longer if his sister was screaming to go back inside!!

SAHM Fun

I feel that we've laid low a lot of January, 1st avoiding germs, then a week with the flu, then a week keeping our germs to ourselves.  It's made for lots of snuggles, crafts, pretend play and yeah, maybe some cartoons.  Our cartoons of choice right now are Daniel Tiger, Calliou and Curious George.  Luckily Emily has no interest in the TV and barely looks at it!
Ryan's memory has been amazing lately.  The other day he was determined to wear his pjs to the childrens museum, his argument was that I let him wear his pjs to the grocery store, 2 weeks earlier!  He also LOVES talking about the Polar Express, STILL....I usually stick with the same story line that I remember, tonight he asked to talk about it and went on for 15 minutes about the movie and mentioned things we haven't talked about since we saw the movie, before Christmas.

Emme- 11 Months

The challenge of a photo shoot with an 11 month old means no good pictures, but lots of cute ones!
It's been an amazing month, Emme got to celebrate her 1st Christmas, lots of time with family and new toys, (girly toys, finally!!).
Things slowed down in January, we took some time to stay at home in hopes of staying away from the flu germs, we were unsuccessful.  I came down with it 1st and them Emme, and then Ryan, somehow Jeremy escaped it!

NYE- Family Style

I will claim, I saw a ball drop for NYE this year, it just happened to be a count down to Noon!  The science museum was having a "ball drop" where they dropped hundreds of bouncy balls from the 3rd floor as well as other crafts and activities for the kids for a count down to noon.  Although Ryan and Emily were some of the younger crowd, he enjoyed it and was glad to run around for a while!
We had a fancy dinner at Red Robin where I surprisingly didn't make everyone go around the table and say what their New Years resolution is.  Although, when I was talking to Ryan earlier in the day trying to explain New Years resolutions, I recommended to him, cleaning up his toys, being nice to his sister, sharing with friends.  He quickly said, "watch Clifford" so I guess we'll be watching more Clifford in the up coming year.
I don't have a NY resolution, but when I think about it, the word 'focus' comes to mind, I'm still trying to figure out what the means and what to do with it, but for now it means be in the moment and focus on what I'm doing!
Not a very eventful NYE, we all were in be at our normal times.  Jeremy and I did watch some of the count down shows but have to admit that I didn't know a lot of the bands that were playing, it made me feel old!
