I feel lost...
Apparently my lap top is NOT toddler proof, it took it's last fall and called it quits! It's taking me a while to set up Jeremy's laptop for me to use and trying to figure out what I need to download on here! We'll be back soon, with lots of updates!

Hanna & Kelsea Visit!
Who would've thought a 8 and 9 year old could wear you out more then a 2 and 5 month old, but I guess all combined, they were successful! I thought it would be fun and memorable for Hanna and Kelsea to visit us for a week but everyone I talked to told me a week was too long, they were right! They were here Wed-Sun and I kept them busy!
A few highlights:

Children's Museaum
Zoo

One of my favorite pictures of me when I was little was a picture of me eating my toes, so these pictures of Emily are extra special for me! She loves to put h
Longest Walk EVER
We decided to take a family walk around the neighborhood and Ryan was determined to get out of the stroller and walk himself...or lolly gag himself...it was the longest walk ever! But at least he's learned that when a car comes, you get to the side of the road and stop. But he kept doing it even when cars weren't coming! And then he spent a lot of time just running around in the street!
At least dad had a cerveza on hand for refreshment/entertainment!

Pony Pasture
We met Kenzie and crew at the South of the James Farmers Market for breakfast and then headed over to Pony Pasture to climb on the rocks! It took some convincing of Kenzie parents but overcast+low water levels=great day to climb on rocks!
The moms and babes stayed on shore down stream to feed and keep an eye out for toddlers that may drift down stream!

Chatting with Emily
I feel a lot of times we don't have enough pictures or videos of Emily so I was glad to capture this chit chatter today! She's getting more vocal and adorable every day!

We stopped and got Chickfila for dinner and ate it at the park since it was so nice. I'm proud but also scared that Ryan can now say Target and Chickfila!

Walk in the Park
Jeremy had a day off so we spent some family time together at the park and Ryan loved our nature walk!
Afterwards we checked out the new splash pad in town (which is awesome!) Ryan wasn't sure about getting wet so we didn't stay long. I loved looking across the park and seeing the only dad at the park, on his phone! I regret that I was too slow to get the picture of him facing outwards, away from the park on his phone at one point! I'm glad he's a hard worker and I'm glad I was there to keep an eye on Ryan and Emily!
Here's a video of the boys venturing on the rocks:

Short Pump was having a construction day this weekend to highlight all the work they are doing at the mall. Ryan scored a hard hat and vest and picture with "Bob the Builder". We thought it would be an awesome experience since he's obsessed with tractors right now, but we were slightly disappointed in the lack of construction activities! He could care less about balloon animals, coloring and face painting. He did however enjoy climbing in the water fountains!
Later in the day we went on a "nature hike" at the local park to get more fresh (hot) air! |

CMoR Central Fun
Ryan has been insisting on wearing his rain boots every.day.even.when.it's.not.raining. We went to the Chilren's Museum and he was all over the place. This was one of the 1st times he didn't beg to ride the carousel but I think we played with every other toy. We picnicked there for lunch and it was adorable that he laid on my lap to eat his sandwich.

Big Boy Bed
I've always said I would ride the crib train as long as I could...even if he wanted to sleep in his crib until he was 5. Well, he has discovered he can climb out of it and there's no turning back! Let me tell you, it's been a tough week, right about now I despise all the people that have easy bed transitions...ours isn't easy! I think we've gotten less sleep then we did with new borns!
We converted his crib to a toddler bed and he has no desire to stay in it. We're tried cry it out, holding hands, rocking in the chair, sleep in the bed with him, sleep on the floor with him and anything else you can think of just to get him to sleep....
It may be our fault that we're also trying to rid the paci in the process, big boy bed=no paci...what were we thinking!!

Kickers Game
We've been wanting to take Ryan to a local Kicker's soccer game all season but with a 7pm game time and 7pm bedtime, it didn't work out. We were excited to see that they were having a 5pm game and knew Ryan would love it! It was a hot afternoon so we hopped between shady spots and cooled off with icecream!
This is one of my favorite videos, Ryan moved in on Kenzie's icecream cone!

4th of July Weekend in Woodstock
I feel the need to be around water on the 4th of July so we headed to the river in Woodstock. The Beasley's have an adorable River cottage that they allowed us to crash at for the weekend. Ryan loved being able to run around outdoors, kick the soccer ball, blow bubbles and watch people tubing down the river. A bonus was being able to spend some time with Kenzie and clan! Emily got quality time with Joseph on the gym mat where their older siblings tried to crash each time.
Ryan didn't make it to the fireworks show but we did get to enjoy sparklers, much to Regan's chagrin!! It wouldn't be a good weekend without a festival, so we found one, the BryceFest. The kids were super excited when they found out they were giving rides in the fire truck!
We lucked out with the weather and really enjoyed ourselves. The only down fall of the weekend was when we were unpacking and I realized I left my bag at home that had mine and the kids clothes in it!! Luckily Jane had good taste and let me borrow clothes, I had a few extra outfits in the diaper bag for the kids and Walmart was near by for the rest!!
