Trick or Treating in Westerleigh

Jeremy met us at the Diamond to trick or treat with Nutzy!  They had free pizza, games and tractor rides around the stadium!
I don't know who was more excited about trick or treating in Westerleigh this year.  Jeremy and I were stoked to see the community excitement and involvement, fire pits, tents, jello shots, cider and lots and lots of kids!!  The kids were troopers, kept up and loved seeing all the other kids costumes!  We can't wait to have a cul-de-sac challenge and are already planning our tail gate!!

Round 3!

Preschool Parade and Party

My MOPS group met at Brandermill Woods Assisted Care Center for a costume parade and a few more treats!  The kids were troopers, showing off their smiles and costumes!
St. Marks Preschool did a really cute Halloween parade with songs and dances!  I was surprised at how well Ryan walked with his friends (lots of kids ran off to their parents!) and how many Elsa's there were!  Emme and I got to go back to his classroom to help with their Halloween party.  It was fun to see a glimpse into their day!

1st Trunk or Treat

We headed to Ryan's preschool for our 1st trunk or treat.  Both kids jumped right in and were stoked to get candy!
Jeremy and I loved creating the tradition of dumping the candy and analyzing it when we got home!  Ryan was very generous and gave us all his chocolate and was fine eating just one piece!

2nd Trunk or Treat

Our 2nd trunk or treat was at my MOPS church. (Woodlake United Methodist Church)  However, this was moved inside due to the rain and was insanely packed!  The kids did surprisingly well and enjoyed costume watching and the excitement of candy!  Some of my favorite lines from the night:
Ryan: "what are M&Ms?"  Proud mom moment, but I take no credit for it, he genuinely doesn't like chocolate.
Ryan: "when we get home, you can have all my chocolate, mom!" He's so generous!
Ryan: "when we get home we can look at all of our candy and give each other what we like the best!"
I also learned that Emme doesn't like anyone messing with her candy!!

Jeremy took the big kids to the bike races so that we could finish packing for the beach!  I think we were all a little nervous about him with 2, but judging by all of their smiles Uncle Dad did good!
